EUROPE-DARKHAN INNOVATION AND
ENTREPRENEURSHIP HUB SET UP

The Europe-Darkhan Innovation and Entrepreneurship Hub (EU-DIEH) was es-
tablished under the third pillar of the Friendship project; and it aims to create alliance,
coalitions, and partnerships to deliver long-term economic and prosperity goals of Dark-
han- Uul province beyond the lifetime of Friendship project and partnerships. The hub
is also to foster an objective to create a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in
Darkhan-Uul Province through the scheme and programme of sensitization, ideation,
incubation, acceleration, and seed funding schemes.

The Sustainable Innovation Community will be created to provide innovation and
entrepreneurship support activities for research, education, training, innovation, busi-
ness incubation and acceleration in Darkhan-Uul Province and will expand into other
provinces and regions of Mongolia. The EU-DIEH through its SICs expected to create a
huge network of partners, which will be accessible to customers and clients seeking to
ecosystem.

entrepreneurs. Businesses will have opportunity to engage with brilliant talent
and innovators with capacity to navigate to emerging and new market opportu-
