The 1st Study Visit has been oragnized.

FRIENDSHIP project has proposed the Study Visits & Exchange Pro-
grammes, an important tool and mechanism to create the Inter-Regional Dark-
han-EU Forum, the network to be institutionalized for delivering long-term policy
and project cooperation objectives. The 1st Study Visit and Best Practice Forum
was organized in Darkhan-Uul Province, Mongolia, between June 28 and July
1, 2022. The first Study Visit from European Union local government officials,
including the officials from NALAS, was coordinated by the School of Agroecol-
ogy and Business with Darkhan-Uul Province Municipality in Mongolia. The visit
was conceptualized for implementation within the priorities of Green Develop-
ment of Sustainable Cities.
The Study Visit and Best Practice Forum has been planned as per the
agreement signed between European Commission and Darkhan-Uul; Province
Municipality CSO-LA/2021/428-390 and has witnessed the participation, en-
gagement, and adopted peer-to-peer approach to set the policy learning and
project cooperation process. The European Union was represented by Munic-
ipal mayors and leaders representing the cities of Rijeka, Ajdovscina, and Bar
from Croatia, Slovenia, and Montenegro. The visit also saw the presence of
international experts and advisors representing the IDEF committees. The del-
egation from the EU and internal experts were hosted through the inauguration
by Darkhan-Uul Province Municipality.
