WE VISITED THE BTM START-UP BUSINESS SUPPORT CENTER OF THE ISTANBUL CHAMBER OF COMMERCE.
According to the law of Turkey, as long as an entrepreneur has established a company and obtained a legal entity certificate, he must become a member of one of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry, and the chamber we visited is considered the highest in the world with 700,000 members and 71 sub-working groups.
The IDEA TO BUSINESS center is being established to support the new generation of business. Some of the center’s activities include:
- Citizens with business ideas are invited to participate in training and their new ideas are written down on paper. If the idea is important, it will be included in the pre-incubation stage.
- If you have realized your idea but cannot enter the market, this center will provide training and advice on how to register your company, how to prepare a PPT, how to make a pitch, and how to attract investors.
- After registering the companies that are ready to sell in the incubation stage, the center works hard to provide services by holding business meetings every Friday and inviting the best mentors on a chosen topic every month.
- In the next stage of incubation, the center works with businesses to scale the company, introduce new innovations, etc.
Recent years, mobility businesses, technology-based financial businesses, artificial intelligence and virtual environment game startups are developing in Turkey.
