Day 3 Rijeka, Croatia
VISITED THE KANTRIDA SWIMMING POOL COMPLEX IN RIJEKA.
Mr. Igor Butorats, director of the complex, gave us a very detailed presentation. With a total of 5 swimming pools, the complex is equipped according to international standards for high-level training of water sports athletes, the largest pool is 2.25m deep, 25m wide and 50m long.
Since 2008, many European competitions have been held in this complex, and athletes from the national teams of many countries, such as America, England, Italy are training.
Rijeka has become the “European City of Sports” in 2022 as its sport tourism is very well developed.
