The FRIENDSHIP project was invited to participate as a panelist on behalf of the Asia-Pacific countries in the webinar ” EU international cooperation on urban development – drawing on the EU experience ” organized by the European Commission annually as part of the “European Week of Cities and Regions”.

Within the European Union’s “Partnership for Sustainable Cities” program, 57 projects are being implemented in countries around the world in order to ensure local participation in the implementation of the SDGs, strengthen local governance, and create joint partnerships between global cities. One of them is the FRIENDSHIP project to strengthen EU-Mongolia friendship through equitable, resilient, and innovative growth in Darkhan-Uul province.

In addition to the FRIENDSHIP project, 2 successful projects in Mauritania, South Africa and Brazil participated in the webinar and shared their best experiences with about 100 viewers from all over the world.
