VISITED THE PORT OF RIJEKA AUTHORITY , THE LARGEST PORT IN CROATIA.
Mr. Ivan Jaksic, Assistant Executive Director of the port, and Mr. Rajko Jurman, Head of the Department of Commercial Affairs, gave a presentation on the operation and development planning of the port. This port, which transports container cargo by train to most countries of Central and Western Europe, has transport logistics agreements with ports in many countries such as China, Korea, Singapore, Japan, and Australia.
The most interesting thing was that cargo is transported to the Chinese port of Tianjin just for 21 days, and there are 2 times a week shipping to the above countries. It can be the fastest and cheapest logistics option for entrepreneurs who are interested in exporting goods to Europe, and for entrepreneurs who import goods from Europe (we import a lot of construction materials).
